I watched this movie last night, starring the magnificent Vincent Price and Joseph Cotten. It was a most excellent tale of revenge, complete with elaborate costumes, hair raising death scenes, robotic musicians, religious symbolism and of course rats, bats and locusts. If you want to see a classic movie without that old movie bore, watch this!

I did it up in a Thai style coconut milk curry sauce. It was delicious. A little chewy, but good.

Kids First Scooter Ride

The ride up to get the kids this weekend was grueling. Got off to a late start, rode nearly 90 miles on my scoot (which I enjoyed), then took my parents car up to NJ. Holiday traffic was bitch! The normally 5 1/2 drive took 8hrs. Got the kids and headed right back to VA. Today (Saturday) we had a great day. Woke up early, ate breakfast, then went for a swim, watched some Spongebob, ate lunch, rode the scooter, watched more Spongebob, played some ball, swam some more, went out for pizza, with Me, the kids, my parents, and my Grandma...four generations! Tomorrow we have plans to go canoeing and then it's back to NJ and the lo-o-ong drive/ride home for me...I'll be exhausted...but it's always worth it!
